A. Teachers Service Corps

The first Teachers Service Corps team

The third Teachers Service Corps team

The fourth Teachers Service Corps team
Sponsor: Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education

The fifth Teachers Service Corps team
Sponsor: Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education

The above programs received tremendous recognition from students, schools and education officials. The Ministry of Education decided to expand the English program nationwide based on the successful program conducted by IESC. However, because of the Korean economic crisis in 1998, the government reduced funding for the program.

B. Teacher Training Programs in the U.S.

In addition to the programs listed above, IESC has also arranged and coordinated programs allowing groups of Korean English teachers to experience intensive ESL program here in the U.S.
